The psychology of philosophy, or philosophic psychology is a interdisciplinary branch of psychology involving the application of psychological methods and interpretive frameworks to the vast contents of organised philosophies, namely the philosophy of Astronism as the first philosophy to be officially recognised as organised. Philosophic psychologists are primarily concerned with the nature of philosophy as defined as by Cometan in The Omnidoxy and the impact that holds on a person's experiences with the philosophy they are adhered to. 

In the context of Astronism, philosophic psychologists are similarly focused on how the contents of the philosophy effects the mentality of its adherents, the psychology of philosophical debates and the art of argumentation, as well as the many physical, emotional, and perceptual elements of Astronism that are closely linked with the general implications of philosophy, in both its organised and unorganised forms.
